I am an Audio Designer Looking for other Designers to put together a
small Independent Games company situated in Central Scotland if
possible.
Finished my Degree and Now I'm finishing a new course aimed at helping
me to fill the gaps in my knowledge of design so I can spread myself out
more.
I usually create Music most of the time when I'm not working on a project,
have done for a few games - namely Ginork, Blast it! and Harmnic Jump.
I have also worked on numerous Animations and Audio designing projects
and a Podcast. Looking forward to working in many other projects over the
holidays in all aspects of digital media.
As of last year I have been delving into some new grounds with my skills such as a Edinburgh College of Art students group website called
Bru-d ( Bru-d.co.uk ) in which I did not design but mearly build, it helped me better my CSS skills. On from that I have worked with
numerous outside projects like soem game design ones in which I was to create some visuals based on concepts made up by another
team member which has helped me develope my Photoshop and Illustrator skills somewhat.
Other than That I have been tinkering on my own with various self motivated projects at gaining beter knowledge of the programs I use
and skills while studying at Telford College. The most important thing is that I have kept up with my Audio Design which is my main goal
to be associated with in the near future in which I aim for a career in the games industry or failing that the film industy.
Been enjoying music since I was very young, sung in choirs or my church and at school, sung in plays, drama productions. Got a guitar from
my grandfather when I was 10 and started learning that, later at 16 I was lucky enough to get a hold of a drum kit and was in a few bands
with that. Now I'm onto keyboard learning classical music along the way for a start. Where i am heading now is back into my old arty type
desire to create with image but now as well with sound.
Audio is just so inspiring to work with I love Audio and Visual work to me there nothing I would rather do more as a career. So I'm on track
to learn some new skills and ways of portraying 2 fine arts, or more and with these hopefully will help me springboard into the gaming
industry.
